I really want to read the next one in Sera and Nyktos story but I know I have to go back to Poppy and Casteel before I can.
Like I haven't a clue how to decipher that prophecy and the last sentence to this book had people going 'oh my god' and yet I haven't got a clue why they are all excited by that last sentence, nor do I even understand how it is possible. Its a lot of information, a lot of characters and trying to piece it all together does give you a headache but to be honest, I just enjoy the story for what it is, regardless if I understand what the hell is going on half the time. Is that right? Not going to lie, there is a few things in these books that confuse me. Especially considering Poppy is Sera and Nyktos grandchild. But I think the author purposely did that in a kind of 'fate repeating itself' way.
But Sera and Nyktos are just beautiful! I can understand why people think its a very similar book and just a copy of each other because there are elements of that. And I think the fact that I was going to have to change characters also made me a bit weary when I had already fallen in love with Poppy and Casteel. Oh my god! Why did I put this off for long? I should have read this months ago! Granted, I was a bit tired from reading the first three books in The Blood and Ash series, even though I enjoyed them loads! But when each book is close to 700 pages, you get a bit burnt out.
